ACRS, the annual event of the Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS) is going to be held in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal on November 25-29, 2002, to commemorate the International Year of the Mountains 2002 declared by the United Nations. The conference is expected to have wide participation of the professionals from all over Asia-Pacific region and abroad. The 23rd ACRS will provide a forum for the participants in exchanging scientific and academic experiences among them.
